In February this year, the Shanly Foundation was delighted to make its biggest ever donation of £100,000 to the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Services.  This is the largest donation that the Foundation has made to a single organisation since its inception in 1997.
The Foundation had been monitoring the impressive and committed fundraising work of the charity since November 2013 when they embarked on a capital project to raise £5 million to build a children’s hospice in Woodlands Park, near Maidenhead. Once built the hospice will offer respite and care services to children and their families in Berkshire and the surrounding counties.
