Careers in construction
The Shanly Foundation Careers in Construction annual fund is open to charitable organisations that help people start their journey towards a career in construction.
We welcome applications from charities representing the disadvantaged, disabled, long-term unemployed, youth groups, etc.
If your application is shortlisted, you may be invited to present your application to our Board of Trustees.
Who can apply?
Applications reopen on the 1st March 2025 – 31st May 2025
- For organisations working to deliver pathways into a career in the construction industry
- Restricted funding window – this fund is currently closed
- Registered charities, Community Interest Companies (CIC), Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIO), Exempt or Excepted under Charity Commission guidance
- Your organisation must have been in existence for more than 12 months
- You must have a dedicated bank account
- Applications are welcomed for:
– Single year grants up to £50,000
– Multi- year grants for a maximum of 3 years, not to exceed £150,000 in total over this period
– Core and unrestricted awards considered
