Shanly Foundation Helping Young Londoners Build Careers in Construction

Shanly Foundation is supporting a targeted programme by Construction Industry Trust for Youth to help 375–400 young people in Lambeth, Tower Hamlets, and Barking & Dagenham who are NEET or at risk. Participants will receive personalised support including coaching, employability workshops, site visits, and connections to live job and training opportunities. Some will gain a Level 1 Health & Safety qualification and CSCS Card, with continued support for six months post-progression.

Youth voice is central, with feedback shaping the programme to include relatable role models who tackle barriers like lack of diversity. Through this initiative, Shanly Foundation is helping young people take real steps toward lasting and meaningful careers in the construction industry.
