We are proud to support the Samaritans of Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead, a lifeline for anyone in need of confidential emotional support. The Samaritan phone lines are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year so at any time anyone struggling to cope has somewhere to turn. Although the Samaritans is a suicide prevention charity, people can contact them with all sorts of issues, including relationship and family problems, bereavement, financial worries and addictions.
Our donation will go towards expanding the size of their duty room, enabling them to accommodate a larger team of volunteers, make the branch wheelchair accessible, and facilitate in-house training sessions.
