The Barnet Holiday play scheme in High Barnet provides a variety of centre based activities and trips out for young people with autism, these young people struggle with communication and delayed development alongside other co-conditions such as: epilepsy, enzyme disorders and pica. Whilst participating in the play scheme the young people can develop upon their social skills and confidence. The Shanly Foundation is pleased to hear that our contribution has helped towards young people being able to play with others their own age in a safe and autism-friendly environment over the holiday periods.
