Staff at Shanly Group indulged in delicious cream teas on Friday 1st July all in the name of fundraising. Supplied by Action Medical Research with volunteers packing thousands of individual boxes for distribution across the country, the scones with jam and cream were delivered to the offices during the morning. Action funds medical research to beat the diseases that devastate the lives of so many children and have been the funding behind medical breakthroughs such as the first polio vaccines in the UK and the rubella vaccine. What better way to support them by eating scones – the only question that remains is Cornish or Devon?
