Home-Start

As one of the leading family support charities in the UK, Home-Start and their volunteers work tirelessly alongside families with young children to help them with a range of challenges they face such as; struggling with post-natal depression, isolation, physical health problems, bereavement and more. Across all four nations of the UK, 16,000 volunteers support 30,000 families and 60,000 children to transform their lives. The Shanly Foundation are delighted to be able to support the charity’s recruitment and training costs for volunteers during the summer and autumn of 2017. This means volunteers will be ready and equipped to respond swiftly to the needs of local families in the Bracknell Forest area.
