We are delighted to announce the first winner of our charity prize draw as part of our 50th anniversary. We are marking this milestone through a series of events, local community initiatives and charitable activities throughout the year. This includes a monthly charity prize draw, from which a tenant of Sorbon Estates or customer of Shanly Homes is chosen at random and asked to nominate a small local registered charity to receive a donation of £2,500.
The first winner of the charity prize draw is Sorbon Estates tenant Wilkinson Estates situated in High Street, Maidenhead, who nominated the Brett Foundation as the lucky recipient of the first cash prize. The Brett Foundation is a local Maidenhead charity that supports families moving into properties after they’ve been homeless.
Family-run estate agency Wilkinson Estates has a longstanding relationship with the Brett Foundation, having  previously supported the charity in awareness and fund-raising campaigns including the conversion of a bus into a homeless shelter.
