Target Ovarian Cancer is a specialised charity who help women living with ovarian cancer. They tackle issues including late diagnosis, limited range of treatments and the loneliness experienced by women living with this disease. Services offered by Target Ovarian Cancer include their “In Touch” programme, a peer-to-peer support service and they provide training for Gynaecological Clinical Nurse specialists, allowing them to improve the care that women with ovarian cancer receive. The Shanly Foundation was delighted to support the new nurse-led specialist service which will allow those who are struggling to cope with immediate support and contact via their phone or email.
