Pact work alongside children whom have been removed from their birth families following neglect, physical abuse and emotional abuse. As a result, it is common for these children to suffer from attachment difficulties and disorders which will make it hard for them to trust and bond with their new parents. Further to helping new families come together, PACT also work alongside families who have reached crisis point, aiming to prevent the adoption placement from breaking down and provide specialist parenting courses. The Shanly foundation is happy to be able to continue supporting PACT as they grow their service and projects to support more local families in need.
