In 2013 the Shanly Foundation and Shanly Group of companies was delighted to support the planning, building, and opening of the unique, Beech Lodge School. The school offers a transformational education for children with social and emotional difficulties primarily due to developmental trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
Since then, the Foundation and the Group have continued to support this hugely worthwhile school which has an unmeasurable effect on its pupils’ lives.
Most recently this has been through the Foundation enabling 10 disadvantaged children and their families to attend the Festival of Sport, hosted by rugby legend, Will Greenwood at Holkham Hall in Norfolk last summer. This event’s tagline is ‘No one gets left on the bench!’ as it facilitates the opportunity for children aged between 5 and 17 to learn and participate in sports, no matter what their background or disability.
